THE EVENT:

Each member of the 3-person team will compete at the Juneau Gun Club Range. Shooting stations include handguns, shotguns, .22 rifles and archery.

EVENT DATE & TIMES:

Saturday, March 18, 2023 @ .5 Montana Creek Road
Bulls-Eye Breakfast: 8:00 am, Lunch will also be provided.
Optional Range Instruction: 8:00 am – 9:00 am
The Legislative Shoot: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

WHO’S INVITED:

Legislators, Governor’s Office, Lt. Governor’s Office, Commissioners, and ALL Support Staff and Family Members.
(We’ll find a team for solo entrants)

ENTRY FEES:

$10 per person ($30 per team). Cash, checks payable to the “Juneau Gun Club” or credit cards will be accepted at the event. Entry fees cover safety equipment (glasses & ear protection), loaner guns, ammo, archery equipment, a 2023 Commemorative coffee mug, breakfast, lunch, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere. A special thanks to the Outdoor Heritage Foundation for helping cut the entry fee cost to $10/person.

HOW TO ENTER

ENTRY FORMS:

Pick up and turn in entry forms to Senator Jesse Kiehl’s office (#4947-Rm 514).

PICK A TEAM:

Round up a team of three. If you need another team member or you are looking to join a team, stop by Senator Kiehl’s office and they will help.

SIGN UP:

Submit your team’s entry form and fee to Senator Kiehl’s office. You can also sign up at the Juneau Gun Club Range on the day of the Legislative Shoot.

FIRST TIMERS:

Never tried this before? It is “a blast” for beginners. Range Safety Officers control the shooting area and a shotgun instructor will be available for folks that are new or “rusty” in handling firearms. All “green horns” are warmly welcomed to the Range.
