2017 Twelve Gun

This year-long raffle is Officer conceived, organized, and run.

Prizes and Winners

Each of the 12 winners (one per month) will select from the remaining of the 12 guns and 4 other prices listed below. You may only select one prize and once a prize is selected it is no longer eligible for the subsequent months. After a winning ticket is pulled it is placed back in the mix for the remaining raffles. If you are lucky enough you can actually win multiple prizes of your choice with only one ticket. The Ticket Seller Raffle prize and Grand Prize are not eligible to select from the monthly prizes.

…and the Grand Prize

We wanted to finish big, so for the Grand Prize we have a

Cash Giveaway

We will announce the Grand Prize winner at the 2017 Super Bowl Party.

How It Works

Purchase a $30 raffle ticket and you are entered in 13 drawings (one drawing per month for 12 months, plus a $2500 grand prize). That’s less than $2.50 per drawing. Each month’s winner will select from the remaining prizes. For example, if you are drawn as February’s winner you will be able to select from all 16 prizes, and if you are August’s winner you will select from the remaining 7 prizes. Scroll down to see the list of prizes.

When Are the Drawings

We’ll kick off this raffle at the 2017 ACOA Super Bowl Party. This year, the Super Bowl is on February 5, 2017 and that’s when we will draw the first winner (we will also be announcing the grand prize for last year’s Twelve Gun Giveaway). Each drawing after that will be announced on the first Wednesday of each month, except the Grand Prize, which will be announced at the 2018 Super Bowl Party.

More Chances to Win

Board Members will be distributing tickets at your institution for you to buy or sell. If you sell a winning ticket, you automatically receive $50 cash, your shift gets a pizza party, and you are entered in another raffle (1 in 13 chance) to win a Ruger SR-556 VT 5.56 mm. Please consider taking a few extra tickets to sell to your friends, family, or even yourself.

Why We Do What We Do

Last year was the first year of the raffle and it was a tremendous success. We used the proceeds to help Officers in need throughout 2016 (this included Officers who were injured, sick, or had a work or personal emergency) and to help pay for the Annual Meeting. Thank you for your support last year.

With your help with this fundraiser, we can do even more to support Officers in 2017.
