Political Action

PAC Members:

The Political Action Committee gets involved in the political aspect of the union. The objective of the PAC is to improve wages, hours, and working conditions of our members through political action. The Legislature has the final approval of whether or not to fund our contract. ACOA’s PAC works diligently to see that the legislative candidates who support ACOA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, as well as the process itself, are elected.

Participation in the PAC is not required, but we ask for every member to give a monthly donation of $5. The State does an automatic payroll deduction for members that sign up for the PAC.

To sign up for the PAC – complete the Membership Dues Check-off Authorization form and sign both signature lines. Then send the completed form to ACOA and we will forward it to the correct person(s) in the Department of Finance.
